Since 2014, the Brazilian Association of Psychiatry (ABP), in partnership with the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM), has been promoting and partnering with organizations throughout Brazil for this campaign.

The 10th of this month is officially recognized as World Suicide Prevention Day, but the initiative takes place all year round. Currently, ‘Setembro Amarelo’ is the world’s largest anti-stigma campaign!

In 2023, the motto is ‘If you need help, ask for it!’ and various actions are already being developed.
